Ayara Thai Cuisine Comes to New School of Cooking

We are looking very forward to having the chef’s of one of LA’s tastiest Thai restaurants join us for an evening of cooking class!  Spend Monday, July 27th with Mother and Daughter Duo Anna and Vanda Asapahu of Ayara Thai Cuisine. During this class, these pros will show you how to make a complete home-style Thai meal including:  Thai Yum Salad, Tom Kha Chicken Soup, Northern Thai Nam Prik Num Chili Relish, Ka-Pow Basil Ground Chicken, Fresh Vegetable Stir Fry, Chu Chee Salmon Curry and Mango Sticky Rice.

Ayara Thai Cuisine opened in 2004 and has since become a beloved family-owned restaurant.  Anna and Andy Asapahu came to Los Angeles from Thailand each with their own set of impressive cooking skills.  They wanted to open a restaurant that was a reflection of the home-style cooking they grew up with and embraced.  Anna took on the title of head chef in their kitchen and still cooks with the sustainable methods she grew up with; such as growing herbs and vegetables in her own garden.  When you taste any one of the many dishes at Ayara, you can taste the dedication that went into the preparation.

Now, Vanda, daughter of Anna and Andy, has also taken a strong interest in the family business.  After traveling and living in Thailand for four years, she brings new ideas to traditional dishes.  She has embraced her own passion for cooking and hopes to keep the family business running for many years to come.

This is an evening of authentic cooking you do not want to miss!  Sign up now to secure your place.
